Simplicity. Who doesn't like it.
Phase 1 : Ideation, Discovery & Research
We have internal process that help us rapidly navigate the best way to discover and research your problem. Turns out, most of the problems you may be facing. Is very likely something, somebody else has already encountered.
Typical problems include scaling an idea, finding product market fit, low conversion rates, user engagement, traction, unconventional (bad) design trends, poorly generated copy or content and poorly executed design.
This approach is great, because a likely solution already exists. Our resolve, is then to find the best, most affordable, quickest implementation and approach.
Phase 2: Initialise (Understanding functionality, Scope & Expectations)
Much of this phase is focused on determining the best solution as identified in Phase 1. This may be determining if an app or website (or web app) is the best approach, discovering a successful roadmap, and early stages of research.
Part 2, involves concluding any admin, contracts and scope agreements. This typcically takes 1-2 days to conclude. We know how fast you need to move in this competitive climate. So we generally tend to move fast once we've accepted a project.
Part 3, is the project management phase. We use tools like Trello, Basecamp, Asana, Slack, Google, Invision etc. We'll allocate everything and assign it using industry standards. We typically have weekly or bi-weekly deliverable dates, on which we ship changes and updates. This works great, so we can iterate and make changes as the project deadline approaches.
Phase 3 : An Iterative workflow
Think of a house. You typically can't build it all at once. It has to be done incrementently, correcting and getting feedback as you continue to build. Therefore, the most logical process would be to build it step by step. That pretty much explains what an agile iterative workflow is. Working alongside you, and your team to ensure we always on the same page.
This approach ensures for consistent, intentional deliverables and regular communication. Each iteration workflow is described in a table or series of steps, where each step points to the involved workers, activities and artifacts.
The Agile software development lifecycle is dominated by the iterative process. Each iteration results in the next piece of the software or design building block. Each iteration is usually one to two weeks in length and has a fixed completion time. Due to its time-bound nature, the iteration process is methodical and the scope of each iteration is only as broad as the allotted time allows.
Multiple iterations will take place during the Agile software development lifecycle and each follows its own workflow. During an iteration, it is important that the customers and business stakeholders provide feedback to ensure that the features meet their needs.
A typical iteration process flow can be visualized as follows:
Requirements- Define the requirements for the iteration based on the product backlog, sprint backlog, customer and stakeholder
feedback.
Development- Design and develop software or design based on defined requirements.
Testing- QA (Quality Assurance) testing, internal and external training, documentation development.
Delivery- Integrate and deliver the working iteration into production.
Feedback- Accept customer and stakeholder feedback and work it into the requirements of the next iteration.
Sounds expensive. Maybe not...
We believe in flexible payment options. Projects can be billed at a fixed or hourly rate. On the odd occasion, we'll even help you get kickstarted with little to no budget. Read about how we give you value for money ➡️
